We are Xavier and Simon.  We live in London (UK) and love fewer things in life more than packing our bags and going places as often as they will let us – because why wouldn’t we.

In 2014 we took six months off work between November and May the following year to go on a mind-blowing (for us) trip around the world.  We created this blog as a sort of newsletter for relatives and friends. Since we got back, we have tried to add further trips, mainly for the memories, but also in the hope they are of some use to those looking for travelling tips and/or inspiration, should anyone stumble upon it.
